Erika Burkard
Erika Burkard is a litigation paralegal at Charnoff Simpson PLLC with a background in legal writing and trial preparation. Erika graduated with honors from George Mason University in 2026 and earned her degree in Government and International Politics with a minor in Legal Studies.
While at George Mason, Erika served as an undergraduate research assistant, an executive board member of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity, and a member of the GMU Pre-Law and Mock Trial Group. Erika has experience in family/divorce law, estate planning, and personal injury law from the various Virginia-based firms she worked at previously.
Erika has a strong interest in appellate and constitutional law and plans to pursue law school in the future. When she is not assisting attorneys and clients, Erika enjoys visiting her family in Richmond, spending time with her roommates in their Fairfax townhouse, and shopping at antique stores.
